Delicious

Hello all,

So for this blog I am talking about our new and awesome Delicious account. I find the title a little comical, but besides that I am really liking this tool. I have been trying it out both here and at home and it is really great I am still working out the kinks on how to "tag" or identify them but I am enjoying figuring it out.

All in all I am very amused at this blogging thing. I like the tools that you can use with them and I am now considering how I can implement this in my class. I am battling with the concept of being online and everything being public, as well as the possibility of unwelcome comments. I am now looking into the tools about how you can do an invite only blog. So wish me luck and I will continue to keep you posted.

New Blog

So this is my first blog using blogger. I am excited to learn how to use this tool as a resource for my classroom and a resource for my students to use to communicate. I think that using this technology is important to utilize to enhance what I am teaching and what the students are learning. Due to the fact that many college professors use blogs or chats as a tool in their curriculum I think it is an important tool to begin to consider at a high school level to enforce college readiness. Let me know if you have any comments or concerns about this idea.
